Founder and Director of Camlins Landscape Architects, Robert is highly respected both as an urban designer and as an incisive commentator on built environment issues.

Robert is widely regarded as one of the foremost Landscape Architects currently practicing in the UK. A gifted teacher, he has acted as visiting tutor and critic at The Architectural Association in London, Cambridge, Manchester, Kingston and Birmingham City Universities, the Universitat fur Bodenkultur, Vienna, Ecole Nationale Superieure du Paysage, Versailles and the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam.

Robert is frequently called upon to act as a jury member for international design competitions and is a reader for the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Further and Higher education. He is an elected member of the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment.

Robert contributed to strategy and the artistic and appointment processes on Landmark Wales.
